Dr. Glen Hunter

Dr. Glen Hunter graduated from University of Western Ontario Medical School in 1989, practiced family medicine from 1990-1998, and completed OBGYN residency through McMaster University in 2002. Founder of Milton Centre for Women’s Health in 2002. He is a long time Milton resident practicing out of Milton District Hospital for over 30 years. Dr. Hunter enjoys playing golf and guitar in his spare time.

 

Dr. Melodye Rajasingham

Dr. Rajasingham graduated from the University of Western Ontario School of Medicine in 1998, and went on to complete her residency in OBGYN by 2003. She was a co-founder of the Milton Centre for Women’s Health in 2002 along with Dr. Hunter. As an avid traveler, she spent many years exploring places all over the world before settling in Milton, Ontario. As a self proclaimed foodie, Dr. Rajasingham enjoys finding new and exciting restaurants when not chasing down her two young children.

 

Dr. Munia Karah

Dr. Karah completed medical school at the University of Tripoli in Libya in 2000. She was enrolled in the OBGYN Libyan and Arabic board program for two years and received a scholarship to complete her OBGYN training at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario between 2005-2010. Dr. Karah began her practice in Milton, Ontario in 2011. When not at the office, Dr. Karah enjoys spending time with her 3 children, cooking, and traveling.

 

Dr. Nita Patel

Dr. Nita Patel began her medical education at the University of Toronto, graduating from Undergraduate Medicine in 2009. Following this, she completed an OBGYN residency through McMaster University in Hamilton, graduating from the program in 2014. Following graduation, Dr. Patel began working at Milton Centre for Women’s Health, serving patients from Milton and the surrounding area. In her free time, she enjoys DIY projects, traveling to new places around the world, and discovering new and delicious foods.

Dr. Alia Mukhida

Dr. Mukhida attended Dalhousie University in Halifax from 2004-2008 where she completed her undergraduate medical education. Dr. Mukhida then attended the University of Ottawa to complete a OBGYN residency from 2008-2013. Since then, she has been working at the Milton Centre for Women’s Health, serving patients of Milton and surrounding area. When not at the office or hospital, Dr. Mukhida enjoys cooking, running, and exploring new places.

 

Dr. Smriti Khosla

Dr. Khosla attended the University of Western Ontario school of medicine, graduating from her medical undergraduate education in 2014. Following this, she completed her OBGYN residency in 2020. Since then, Dr. Khosla has working at the Milton Centre for Women’s Health. When not seeing patients at the office or hospital, Dr. Khosla enjoys hiking on the local trails, traveling to new places, and working out.

 

Dr. Marielos Pineda-Rivas

Dr. Pineda-Rivas completed her medical undergraduate training through the University of Western Ontario in 2014. Following this, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the University of Saskatchewan in 2017, along with a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery in 2018. As a bilingual, Dr. Pineda-Rivas speaks both Spanish and English. When not busy at the office or seeing patients in the hospital, she is usually busy spending time with her 3 children, hiking on the local trails, reading, and finding time to dance.

 

Gemma Draper-Macdonald RPN

Gemma is the clinic nursing specialist for Obstetrics at Milton Centre for Women’s Health. She has a wide range of previous experiences working for the St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton. Gemma coordinates all prenatal care at the clinic and is also a teacher for online prenatal classes. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with family.
